Uniqo was made from traditional Douro grape varieties: Tinta Roriz (75%), Touriga Franca (20%), and Touriga Nacional (5%), planted on schist soil terraces of the Douro Valey. This wine aged for 6 months in Frenck oak barrels. It is well balanced with great elegance and aromas of black fruit and spices. In the mouth it is full bodied with soft tannins and long finish. Perfect match for meat dishes, pasta and cheese.
