Engagement falls sharply as video length increases, so the content had to remain concise without losing clarity.

Solutions

I created a jargon-free narrative that defines harassment, outlines reporting options, and reinforces policy in plain language.

Using Vyond, I animated more than twenty varied workplace scenarios to illustrate subtle and overt forms of harassment, keeping pacing brisk and visuals engaging to sustain attention.

I capped the runtime at two minutes, ensuring all essential information fit within the proven engagement window.

Result

After viewing the video, employees can accurately identify behaviors that constitute sexual harassment and list multiple avenues for seeking help.

Lesson Learned

I learned that audience engagement declines rapidly as videos get longer, so keeping compliance content short, focused, and visually dynamic is crucial for retention.
