Abhi Labs ("we," "us," or "our") built Lunavi: Period & Cycle Tracker (the "App") as a premium, privacy-first health utility. We recognize that your biological rhythms, menstrual cycle, and personal health data are profoundly intimate.

This Privacy Policy outlines our strict "Offline-First" approach to data processing, detailing what information is accessed, how it is used, and the absolute measures we employ to protect your privacy.

OUR "OFFLINE-FIRST" PRIVACY ARCHITECTURE

Unlike traditional period tracking applications that offload sensitive health data to third-party cloud servers, Lunavi is engineered to operate entirely on your device.

Zero Cloud Uploads: We do not own, operate, or rent servers to store your cycle data. Your logged periods, symptoms, moods, and AI-generated ovulation predictions never leave your device.

On-Device Predictive Engine: All cycle mapping, phase calculations, and intelligent predictions occur entirely on your local hardware. We do not transmit your biological data to external APIs for processing.

Zero Advertisements: Lunavi is completely ad-free. We do not share, sell, or broker your personal or device information to advertising networks.

INFORMATION WE ACCESS AND PROCESS

To provide core predictive functionality, the App requires localized access to specific data inputs provided by you:

A. Cycle & Health Data 

• Purpose: To predict future periods, estimate fertile windows, and provide historical health insights. 

• Processing: Data such as period start/end dates, flow intensity, and logged symptoms are stored exclusively in a localized, secure Android Room database on your device. We cannot access, view, or harvest this data.

B. Device Information & Technical Logs 

• Purpose: To maintain optimal application performance and prevent critical crashes. 

• Processing: We may utilize automated, anonymized crash reporting tools (such as Google Play Vitals) exclusively to diagnose application instability. This diagnostic data contains no personally identifiable information and strictly excludes any health or cycle data.

THIRD-PARTY TRACKING & ADVERTISING

We do not use third-party advertising SDKs (such as Google AdMob or Meta Ads), nor do we collect Advertising IDs. Your usage behavior within the App is not tracked, monetized, or shared with external analytics brokers.

DATA RETENTION AND ACCOUNT DELETION POLICY

Because Lunavi operates with an offline-first architecture, we do not maintain user accounts, nor do we store your health records on external servers. Therefore, there is no remote account to delete.

You have absolute, immediate control over your data. You can execute a complete and permanent deletion of all your health records, logs, and prediction history at any time by:

• Using the In-App Deletion Tool: Navigating to the "More" screen, selecting the "Data" tab, and using the built-in option to clear your data immediately.

• Clearing App Storage: Clearing the App's storage cache in your Android system settings.

• Uninstalling: Uninstalling the App completely from your device.

(Note: Because data is stored locally, clearing your data or uninstalling the app permanently erases your records. We recommend taking note of your cycles if you plan to switch devices, as we cannot recover deleted local databases).

EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA (EEA), UK (GDPR), AND CALIFORNIA (CPRA) USERS

Because Lunavi does not transmit, collect, or process personal data off-device, and does not serve targeted advertisements, the principles of "Privacy by Design" are inherently built into the App.

• We do not require complex consent management platforms (CMP) for data harvesting because no harvesting occurs.

• We do not "sell" or "share" personal information under the definitions of the CCPA/CPRA.

APPLICATION SECURITY MEASURES

We implement rigorous application-level security to protect your data locally:

• Sandboxed Storage: Your SQLite database is isolated within the Android operating system's secure sandbox. It cannot be accessed by other applications installed on your phone unless your device is rooted or compromised.

• Secure Background Processing: Notifications for upcoming periods and fertile windows are triggered by localized WorkManager processes, ensuring your scheduled alerts happen securely without pinging external servers.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is a health and lifestyle utility and is not knowingly directed at children under the age of 13. We do not intentionally collect personally identifiable information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has utilized the app, you may delete the localized data by using the in-app deletion tool or uninstalling the application from their device.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our technical architecture, Google Play Developer Policies, or legal requirements. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
