Luna - Period & Cycle Tracker

Luna ("we", "our", or "the app") is a free menstrual cycle tracking application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your health data with the utmost care. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
When you use Luna, we collect the following information that you voluntarily provide:
Account Information: Email address, name, and date of birth
Cycle Data: Period start/end dates, cycle length, flow intensity
Daily Health Logs: Mood, symptoms, energy level, sleep quality, basal body temperature, cervical mucus observations, exercise, water intake, weight, and personal notes
Partner Sharing: If you choose to link with a partner, we facilitate sharing of your cycle and mood data with that specific person
Your data is used exclusively to:
Provide cycle predictions and fertile window estimates
Display health insights and pattern analysis
Share selected information with your linked partner (only if you opt in)
Maintain your account and sync data across devices
Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit
We use Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure only you (and your authorized partner) can access your data
Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
We do not store payment information (the app is completely free)
We do NOT:
Sell your data to third parties
Share your data with advertisers
Use your data for marketing purposes
Share data with insurance companies or employers
Use any third-party analytics or tracking tools
The only data sharing occurs when you explicitly link with a partner. You control what they can see and can revoke access at any time.
Luna contains absolutely no advertisements, no tracking pixels, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party data collection. Your health data stays between you and your authorized partner only.
You have the right to:
Access: View all your stored data at any time within the app
Export: Download all your data in JSON format from Settings
Delete: Permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings
Revoke Partner Access: Unlink your partner at any time
Luna is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all data is permanently and irreversibly removed from our servers within 30 days.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app. Continued use of Luna after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
