Luna Talk is developed by BestJunSoft.
The short version
Luna Talk runs its AI model on your phone. It has no accounts and no sign-in. Your conversations are stored only on your device, are never sent to us or to anyone else, and are deleted when you clear a conversation or uninstall the app.
We do not collect, store, sell, or share your personal information. The rest of this page explains that in detail, including the parts Google handles because the app is distributed through Google Play.
This Privacy Policy tells you what happens to information when you use the Luna Talk app. If you use the app, you agree to the handling of information described here.
Information we collect
Luna Talk does not collect, store, or request personally identifiable information. There is no account to create, no sign-in, no profile, and no way for us to identify you.
The app contains no advertising, no analytics software, and no tracking software. It does not use Firebase. It does not read or use the advertising identifier on your device.
Your conversations
The language model that answers you is included with the app and runs on your device's own processor. Your messages are not uploaded for processing.
Conversations are saved in a database inside the app's private storage, which other apps on your phone cannot read. Each mode keeps its own separate history. Clearing a conversation in the app deletes it permanently, and uninstalling the app removes all of it.
Automatic backup to Google Drive is switched off for this app, so your conversations are not copied to Google's servers when you back up your phone.
Reporting a response
If an AI response seems harmful or inappropriate, you can press and hold it to report it. A reported response is written to a log file in the app's private storage on your own device. It is not transmitted to us or to any third party.
Google Play
Luna Talk is distributed through Google Play, and the AI model file is delivered during installation using Play Asset Delivery. Google handles that download and processes information associated with your Google account and device as part of operating the Play Store, in the same way it does for any app you install. This is governed by Google's own policy, which you can read at https://policies.google.com/privacy
Because the Play Asset Delivery library is included, the app declares network access in its manifest. That access exists so Google Play can deliver and update the model file. Luna Talk does not use it to send your conversations or any other content anywhere.
Luna Talk does not use Google Play Games Services and has no leaderboards, achievements, or gaming profile.
Crash and diagnostic data
The app has no crash reporting software of its own. If your device is set to share usage and diagnostic information with Google, Google Play may send us anonymous crash and performance reports about the app. These contain technical details such as the device model, the operating system version, the app version, and where in the code the problem occurred. They do not contain your conversations, and we cannot use them to identify you. You can change what your device shares in your Android settings.
Permissions
Luna Talk asks for no runtime permissions. It does not access your contacts, photos, files, microphone, camera, or location.
Cookies
Luna Talk is not a web app and does not use cookies.
Data retention and deletion
Because nothing leaves your device, there is no account to close and no server-side data to request or erase. To delete everything the app has stored, clear your conversations in the app or uninstall Luna Talk.
Security
Keeping data on your device rather than on a server is the main protection this app offers. Your conversations live in app-private storage, which the Android system isolates from other apps. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Device-level protections such as a screen lock and full-disk encryption remain your responsibility.
Children's privacy
Luna Talk is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because responses are generated by an AI model, they may occasionally be inaccurate or unsuitable for younger users, and we recommend adult supervision for children who use the app. If you are a parent or guardian and have a concern about your child's use of Luna Talk, please contact us at the address below.
