To have a 4 Nephi community means striving to create a ward and society modeled after the ideals described in the Book of Mormon’s 4 Nephi—a period of time following Christ’s visit to the Americas when the people lived in unity, righteousness, and peace.

All Things In Common
They shared their resources freely: “they had all things common among them” (4 Nephi 1:3), eliminating poverty.

Unity
“There were no…ites,” meaning no divisions by group or class (4 Nephi 1:17). Everyone was united as children of Christ.

No Contention
“There was no contention among all the people” (4 Nephi 1:2). People resolved differences with love and understanding.

They Served One Another
“And there were great and marvelous works wrought by the disciples of Jesus,” (4 Nephi 1:5). They exercised the priesthood in the name of jesus christ for the benefit of otehrs.
We meet at 792 N 500 E Logan, UT at noon. We currently share the building one other married student ward and a family ward.
Its natural to want to be around people who look, talk, act, and think like we do. There is a place for that. But in the Savior's Church, we gather all of God's children who are willing to be gathered and who seek the truth. It is not our physical appearance, our political views, our culture, or our ethnicity that brings us together. It is not our common background that unites us. It is our common objective our love for God and love for our neighbor, our commitment to Jesus Christ and His Restored gospel. We are "one in Christ". - Dieter F. Uchtdorf (April 2025)

For all of 2026, the 3rd Ward sacrament meeting will Remain at noon.
In 4 Nephi, the people were of “one heart and one mind” (4 Nephi 1:15–17). When ward members fast and pray together for one another, they are uniting in spiritual purpose. Each person’s trial or need becomes a shared burden, and the ward moves closer to being knit together in love and mutual concern. As you participate, you may find yourself drawn to other Christlike qualities and 4 Nephi community attributes: less envying, less strife, and greater healing and spiritual power.
