If you want longer stated battery life and built-in nature sounds with a sleep timer for fishing trips, choose LUMINFLY Pillow Speaker Sleep; if you need an LED display and the option to play music from a Micro SD card, choose Hesond Pillow Speaker Bone. Both are compact bone-conduction speakers designed to sit under a pillow, not headphones you wear.
LUMINFLY Pillow Speaker Sleep vs Hesond Pillow Speaker Bone at a Glance
• LUMINFLY Pillow Speaker Sleep: Up to 20 hours of playback, preloaded nature sounds, and 30- or 60-minute auto-off; the trade-off is that the listed features don’t include an LED display or Micro SD playback.
• Hesond Pillow Speaker Bone: LED screen, Bluetooth 5.4, and Micro SD card support for cards from 2GB to 128GB; the card itself is not included, and stated continuous playback is up to 8 hours.
• LUMINFLY is for someone who wants a simple under-pillow speaker, relaxing built-in sounds, and a longer stated battery run.
• Hesond is for someone who wants to see settings on a display or listen to audio stored on a supported card without relying only on Bluetooth.
LUMINFLY’s core appeal is straightforward: place the compact speaker under your pillow and listen without putting earbuds in your ears. Its bone-conduction design sends sound through vibrations, while the product is described as suitable for side sleepers. That arrangement may appeal if you find conventional headphones uncomfortable when lying down or simply want fewer things on your ears at bedtime.
It also has several sleep-focused details that give it a clear use case. The speaker includes nature sounds such as ocean waves, rainfall, birdsong, and train tracks. A 30- or 60-minute timer can shut it off after you’ve settled in. The listed battery capacity is 400mAh, with up to 20 hours of playback, and charging uses USB-C. Those are useful features for a nightstand routine or a trip where you’d rather not charge a small device every night.
For fishing, think of LUMINFLY as a sleep accessory for resting indoors or in a cabin after a day outside—not as gear for listening while actively fishing. It is not described as water-resistant, and the product information gives no outdoor-use protection. I’d consider it if the goal is private, under-pillow audio at bedtime. I’d skip it if you specifically want a visible settings display, removable-card playback, or a speaker intended for wet conditions.

Hesond Pillow Speaker Bone: Who It's For
Hesond also sits under a pillow and uses bone-conduction vibration rather than requiring earbuds. It offers Bluetooth playback from a phone, plus a Micro SD card slot that supports cards between 2GB and 128GB. The card is not included. That extra playback route could be handy if you prefer to keep a collection of audio on a card instead of streaming or connecting a phone every time.
Its practical distinction is the LED display. Hesond says the screen shows current settings, which may make it easier to check what you have selected. The product also lists Bluetooth 5.4, a 10-meter connection range, touch controls, and a 300mAh battery with up to 8 hours of continuous playback. Built-in nature sounds include options such as gentle rain and ocean waves, and it has a timer to stop playback.
The compromise is that its stated continuous playback time is shorter than LUMINFLY’s. That may be enough for a bedtime listening session, especially if you use the timer, but it gives less headroom for longer use away from a charger. For fishing trips, I’d see Hesond as an option for listening in a dry place at night, particularly if card playback or the display matters to you. I wouldn’t choose it as sports earbuds for fishing: it is an under-pillow speaker, and the listed information says it is not water-resistant.
• Best for longer stated playback → LUMINFLY Pillow Speaker Sleep. It lists up to 20 hours, compared with Hesond’s up to 8 hours of continuous playback.
• Best for checking settings on the device → Hesond Pillow Speaker Bone. Its LED screen is specifically described as showing current settings.
• Best for built-in nature sounds → Either. LUMINFLY lists ocean waves, train tracks, birdsong, and rainfall; Hesond also includes natural sound options, including rain and ocean waves.
• Best for a defined short bedtime session → LUMINFLY Pillow Speaker Sleep. Its timer options are specifically 30 and 60 minutes. Hesond has a timer, but the provided details do not state its available intervals.
• Best for Micro SD card playback → Hesond Pillow Speaker Bone. It supports a 2GB–128GB card, which must be purchased separately.
• Best if you want USB-C charging mentioned in the specs → LUMINFLY Pillow Speaker Sleep. Hesond includes a USB charging cable, but its charging connector type is not specified.
• Best for Bluetooth 5.4 and a stated 10-meter range → Hesond Pillow Speaker Bone. LUMINFLY lists Bluetooth 5.1 but does not give a range in the provided specifications.
• Best fit for someone seeking noise canceling sleep headphones for fishing → Neither is a noise-canceling headphone set. Both are under-pillow bone-conduction speakers; Hesond mentions adaptive noise reduction, but neither is described as headphones worn over or in the ears.
My Verdict
Neither product is a conventional pair of headphones: both are designed to sit under a pillow. Hesond lists adaptive noise reduction, but the available product details do not establish that either one cancels outside noise like noise-canceling headphones.
LUMINFLY lists up to 20 hours of playback from a 400mAh battery. Hesond lists up to 8 hours of continuous playback from a 300mAh battery; actual use may vary, and the listed figures are not a direct independent test.
Yes. Hesond supports a Micro SD card between 2GB and 128GB as well as Bluetooth from a phone. The card is not included, so you would need to supply a compatible one.
No. They are under-pillow speakers, not earbuds intended to stay in your ears during activity. The provided information also says Hesond is not water-resistant, and neither product is specified as suitable for wet fishing conditions.
