We do not collect or process astrology-related personal data. Any astrology content linked from the app is provided by an external third-party website, not by Lumela.

We never sell your data to third parties.
Your data is stored securely on Lovable Cloud (powered by Supabase), with servers in the European Union.
We use the following third-party processors to operate the app:
Anthropic (Claude API), USA — processes your cycle, mood, and symptom data to generate personalized AI "Body Wisdom" insights. No personal data is permanently stored by Anthropic; data is processed only to generate your response.
MailerLite, USA/EU — processes your email address if you opt in to receive app emails or the newsletter.
Where your data is transferred outside the UK/EU (for example, to Anthropic or MailerLite in the USA), we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and/or the providers' equivalent data protection safeguards to ensure your data remains protected to UK/EU standards.
We keep your account and health data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your health logs or your account (see Section 6 below), that data is removed from our active systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain limited records for legal or fraud-prevention purposes.
You have the right to:

Object to or restrict certain processing
Lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk) if you believe your data has been mishandled
How to delete your data:
Delete health logs only: Go to Profile → Settings → "Clear my data" — this removes all cycle logs, symptoms, mood, nutrition, sleep, and activity data while keeping your account active.
Delete account completely: Go to Profile → Settings → "Delete account" — this permanently removes your account and all associated data.

Lumela's website and app may use basic analytics to understand app usage and improve features. We do not use analytics for advertising purposes, and we do not sell or share analytics data with advertisers.
Lumela is not a medical device. All content is for educational and self-reflection purposes only. Lumela does not diagnose, treat, or help prevent any condition. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, including questions about contraception, fertility, or treatment.
Lumela is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of Lumela after changes means you accept the updated policy. Material changes will be highlighted in the app.
