Hi! I'm Lukas, a PhD student in Finance at the University of Mannheim.
My research interest lies in Behavioral Finance and Household Finance, especially individuals' belief formation and learning in financial markets. To address this I mainly use empirical settings, in particular experiments and archival data.

11/2025 Pascal Kieren and I were awarded the Einhorn-Hogarth New Investigator Award by the Society for Judgment and Decision Making for our paper "Information Partitioning, Learning, and Beliefs" (with Martin Weber).
