STORIES BEHIND THE ART 2026

Produced by Studio L. Trindade, this second season of Stories Behing the Art is directed by Ricardo Quaresma Vieira — two artists united by their passion for art. This documentary series aims to bring the audience closer to the creative process and the making of artworks, revealing behind-the-scenes moments and unique experiences that bring the creations to life. Many of the images were occasionally captured using mobile phones, often just for the artist’s personal record, adding authenticity and spontaneity to the visual narrative. Under the director’s guidance, recordings were also made in the studio during an extended conversation between the artists.

The Panel Talk aimed to create an open conversation about the documentary One Movement, bringing the audience closer to the theme of motivation behind artistic creation. The discussion covered artistic validation, self-confidence, and the pursuit of personal fulfillment in the process of making art. The panel also explored the decisions made when no other option was available but the path of creation and creativity, and the implications this had on each individual’s life. Moderated by Sofia Coelho (Visual Artist), the panel delved into these questions and opened the conversation to the audience, making the creative process more approachable and accessible.
