SUBVERTED GEOMETRIES - I 2024
This work is part of 'Subverted Geometries', an ongoing series that explores the deconstruction and reconstruction of diverse elements. By dismantling both organic forms (elements of nature) and man-made objects (ready-mades), the collection investigates how their original structures and contexts can be creatively rearticulated, granting them new significance and purpose.
This wooden sculpture was carved from the hollow trunk of a pear tree. Its clean color and organic form invite the viewer to reassess their immediate interpretation.
90x30cm.
