Press the Windows logo key + R to open the Run dialog box.
Type winver and click OK.
A window will appear that shows your Windows edition, version, and build number.

Step 2: Download the UMDF installer from Microsoft website
After you have checked your Windows version and UMDF support, you can download the UMDF installer from the Microsoft website. To do this, follow these steps:
Go to the [User-Mode Driver Framework Frequently Asked Questions] page on the Microsoft website.
Scroll down to the section "Where can I get UMDF?" and click on the link that matches your Windows version and architecture (32-bit or 64-bit).
A download dialog box will appear. Click Save or Save as to save the installer file to your computer.
Step 3: Run the UMDF installer and follow the instructions
After you have downloaded the UMDF installer, you can run it and follow the instructions to install UMDF on your computer. To do this, follow these steps:
Locate the installer file that you saved in the previous step. It should have a name like "umdf--.msu". For example, "umdf-2.33-x64.msu".
Double-click on the installer file to launch it.
A User Account Control dialog box might appear. Click Yes or Continue to allow the installer to make changes to your computer.
A Windows Update Standalone Installer dialog box will appear. Click Yes or Install to start the installation process.
A progress bar will show the installation status. Wait until it is completed.
A message will appear that says "The update was successfully installed". Click Close or Restart Now to finish the installation.
Congratulations! You have successfully downloaded and installed UMDF on your computer.
