Ludo Gamez – Privacy Policy
Effective date: 8 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information the Ludo Gamez mobile app ("the app", "we", "us") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The app is published by GlobalDesk. If you have any questions, contact us at support@akshaytech.com.
Summary
You can play without creating an account. We never ask for your email address, phone number or real name.
Pass & Play and vs Computer games stay on your device.
Online games send your chosen display name and your moves to our game server, only for as long as the game lasts.
We use Google Firebase to understand how the app is used, to fix crashes and to send notifications. This data does not identify you personally.
The app may show ads from Google AdMob. When ads are shown, AdMob may use your device's advertising ID, as explained in section 6.
We do not sell your data.
1. Information stored only on your device
The app saves the following on your phone, so you can carry on where you left off:
your settings (such as sound, vibration, auto-move, game rules and reminders)
your current game, so you can resume it
the names typed for Pass & Play players, and your online display name
a random ID created when the app is installed (used only to reconnect you to an online game)
a count of games played, used to space out ads
This information stays on your device. It is deleted when you uninstall the app.
2. Online play
When you use Online or Create or Join Room, the app connects to our game server (ludo.akshaytech.com, hosted by Oracle Cloud in Mumbai, India). The server receives:
the display name you chose, which other players in your game can see
the random install ID from section 1, so you can rejoin a game after a dropped connection
your game actions (dice rolls and moves), your chosen pawn color, and room codes
The server keeps this information only in memory, while your game or room is active. It is not saved to a database and is deleted when the game or room ends. Our server does not keep logs of players' names or IP addresses. Your IP address is necessarily used by the network to deliver data between your phone and the server.
3. Analytics (Google Firebase Analytics)
To understand how people use the app and decide what to improve, we use Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google. It collects:
App usage: which screens and game modes you open, game settings (such as number of players, computer level and rules), game results and totals (such as game length, dice rolls and captures), settings changes, online connection problems, and whether an ad was shown
Device information: device model, operating system version, language, and app version
Approximate location: country or region, estimated by Google from your IP address (not GPS)
An app-instance ID, a random identifier created by Firebase for this installation
We do not send your name, the names you type, room codes, or contact details to Firebase. Firebase Analytics in this app is set up not to collect your device's advertising ID, and we do not use analytics data for advertising.
4. Crash reports (Google Firebase Crashlytics)
If the app crashes or hits an error, Firebase Crashlytics sends a crash report. It contains technical details, such as the code location of the problem, device model, operating system version, free memory and disk space, the screen and game mode in use, and a random installation ID. We use it only to find and fix problems.
5. Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules occasional reminders on your phone (for example, after a week without playing), and we may send messages about the game through Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging. For that, Firebase gives your installation a random notification token; it is not linked to your identity. You can turn reminders and messages off at any time in the app (Settings → Reminders) or in your phone's settings.
6. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app may show ads, such as a banner during a game and a full-screen ad between games. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. When ads are turned on, the AdMob SDK may collect:
your device's advertising ID (Advertising ID on Android; on iPhone only if you allow tracking, which this app does not ask for)
device information, such as model, operating system, language and app version
approximate location, estimated from your IP address
ad interactions, such as which ads were shown and whether you tapped them
diagnostic information about ad loading and performance
Google uses this information to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud. On iPhone, the app asks for non-personalized ads only. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalized ads are shown, and you can choose non-personalized ads instead.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your phone's settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads; iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
Learn more about how Google uses data from apps that show its ads at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and about Google's advertising at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
7. What we do not collect
The app does not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, precise (GPS) location, or files. It has no in-app purchases and collects no payment information.
8. How we use information
We use the information above only to:
run online games and reconnect you if your connection drops
understand which features are used, so we can improve the game
find and fix crashes and other problems
send reminders and game news, if you allowed notifications
show ads, which help keep the app free
9. Sharing
We do not sell or rent your information. Information is processed by these service providers:
Google (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics and Cloud Messaging), on our behalf
Google (AdMob), to show and measure ads. Google may use this information under its own privacy policy.
Oracle Cloud: hosts our online game server
Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
We may also disclose information if required by law.
10. How long we keep information
On your device: until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app
Online game data: only while your game or room is active
Firebase Analytics: up to 14 months, after which it is deleted automatically
Crash reports: up to 90 days
Advertising data: kept by Google according to its own policies
11. Your choices and rights
Online play is optional. Pass & Play and vs Computer work fully offline.
You can turn notifications off in Settings → Reminders or in your phone's settings.
You can limit ad tracking or reset your advertising ID in your phone's settings (see section 6).
Uninstalling the app deletes all information stored on your device.
You can ask us to access or delete analytics or crash data related to your installation, or raise any privacy concern, by emailing support@akshaytech.com. Because this data is not linked to your identity, we may ask for details that help us find it. We will reply within 30 days.
If you are in India, you may contact us at the same address about your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
12. Children
Ludo Gamez is a family board game for a general audience. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Security
All connections to our game server, Firebase and AdMob are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect information.
14. International transfers
Google may process Firebase and AdMob data on servers outside your country, including in the United States, under its own safeguards.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the effective date above.
