Trauma-informed therapy for adults struggling with shame, anxiety, grief, and hard-to-change coping habits like substance use, anger, and avoidance.
I work with adults who feel worn down by patterns they didn’t choose and don’t fully understand. Many of the people I see have spent years surviving—managing intense emotions, substance use, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles—without ever being given a clear framework for how they got there or how to get out of there.
My background includes years of individual and group work in intensive outpatient settings, where I supported people navigating trauma, addiction, grief and the chronic stress of everyday life. Those experiences helped me refine how I practice today: practical, grounded, and focused on helping people regain a sense of agency. My approach is eclectic, drawing from evidence-based and trauma-informed practices rather than a single rigid model.
I approach therapy as a collaborative process. Together, we work to understand how early experiences, attachment patterns, and a chronically activated nervous system can shape thoughts, emotions, and behavior. From there, we focus on building skills that translate into daily life—tools that support steadiness, clarity, and the ability to choose how you want to live.
I place a strong emphasis on honesty and compassion in the therapeutic relationship. Therapy with me is about creating enough safety to look clearly at what’s happening, reduce shame, and experiment with new ways of responding—at a pace that respects your nervous system and your history.
You don’t need to have insight, language, or goals figured out before starting. Many people begin therapy feeling confused, exhausted, or disconnected from themselves. My role is to help make sense of what’s been driving those experiences and to support meaningful, sustainable change over time.
I currently offer individual therapy for adults. My work is trauma-informed and grounded in an understanding of how stress, attachment, and nervous system patterns shape emotions and behavior over time.
Areas I commonly work with include:
Anxiety and chronic stress
Trauma and PTSD
Substance use and recovery
Difficulty regulating emotions
Relationship patterns and interpersonal challenges
