I am a tenured Assistant Professor (Professor Adjunto) at the Math Department of the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, UFMG (Brazil).
Before moving (back) to UFMG, I was a postdoctoral researcher at ICMC - USP (2018), under the supervision of Prof. Herivelto Borges, supported by FAPESP. In 2023 I was in Sabbatical leave at Carleton University.
I obtained my Ph.D. from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2018), under the supervision of Prof. Daniel Panario (Carleton University) and Prof. Fabio Brochero (UFMG).
I am an Affiliate Member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences for the period 2025-2029.
