I am a tenured Assistant Professor (Professor Adjunto) at the Math Department of the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, UFMG (Brazil).
Before moving (back) to UFMG, I was a postdoctoral researcher at ICMC - USP (2018) supported by FAPESP. In 2023 I was in Sabbatical leave at Carleton University.
I obtained my Ph.D. from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2018), under the supervision of Prof. Fabio Brochero and Prof. Daniel Panario (Carleton University).

I am mainly interested in the algebraic, number-theoretic and combinatorial aspects of Finite Fields. Some allied areas include Discrete Mathematics, Number Theory and Linear Algebra.
