I am an Associate Professor of Accounting at Tilburg University. My research examines how financial reporting, disclosure, and regulation influence the behavior of firms, investors, financial institutions, and regulators. I study the role of accounting information in areas including banking, financial stability, auditing, and sustainability-related disclosures, with the goal of understanding how reporting systems can improve decision-making and market outcomes.
