I’m a university researcher who spends most of my days trying to convince numbers to behave. Before this glamorous life of data and papers, I spent three years in the Italian Armed Forces — learning discipline, resilience, how to survive on suspiciously small rations, and how to pretend I had a six-pack while my abs quietly disagreed.
Swimming has been my lifelong therapy — a chance to pretend I’m a dolphin while the world spins wildly on land. My musical taste ranges from the mind-expanding Pink Floyd to the comforting stadium vibes of Coldplay, because sometimes research needs a soundtrack.
I ride motorcycles to feel the wind, camp to feel the dirt, and spend quality time with friends to remember that life isn’t just about publications. When truly desperate for sanity, I grab a hoe and dig in the earth — no therapy bill, just dirt under my nails and an existential sense of calm.
In short: I analyze, I swim, I rock out, I ride, I camp, and I occasionally become a farmer. Science happens somewhere in between.
