welcome!

Researcher at the University of Bologna.

I study algebraic geometry, in particular moduli spaces of curves, combinatorial methods (tropical/logarithmic), and enumerative geometry (Gromov-Witten theory).

Previously, I was a postdoc at HU Berlin (funded by the ERC grant SYZYGY of Gavril Farkas), in Frankfurt (where I substituted the Chair  of Algebra and Number Theory, funded by GAUS), in Heidelberg (where I was part of the physical mathematics group of Johannes Walcher, funded by STRUCTURES), and at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn (mentor: Georg Oberdieck). I earned my Ph.D. at Imperial College London and the London School of Geometry and Number Theory in October 2018 (supervisor: Cristina Manolache), after completing my undergraduate studies in Pisa (advisors:  Angelo Vistoli and Andrea Maffei).
