Post Doctoral Researcher
Department of Economics
University of Bergamo
From October 2024 I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Bergamo, working under the supervision of Raffaele Argiento. I earned my PhD in Statistics from the University of Milano-Bicocca in February 2025, under the supervision of Lucia Paci and Raffaele Argiento. Prior to that, I obtained a Master’s degree in Mathematical Engineering with a specialization in Applied Statistics from Politecnico di Milano, under the supervision of Alessandra Guglielmi.
My research focuses on Bayesian modeling, spatio-temporal modeling, environmental statistics, and, more recently, Bayesian nonparametric models. I have actively participated in numerous conferences and workshops, delivering contributed talks, presenting posters, and receiving invitations to speak.
During my academic journey, I had the privilege of collaborating with Sudipto Banerjee at the University of California, Los Angeles, during a visiting period in the spring and summer of 2023. Additionally, I serve as a board member of y-SIS for 2024 and 2025, contributing to the young researchers' group of the Italian Statistical Society.
I have also gained valuable teaching experience, serving as a teaching assistant for several undergraduate and graduate statistics courses across multiple universities.
