Privacy Policy – LSKit
Effective date: 18 September 2026 App: LSKit (package name com.ls.toolskit) Website: https://linkcut.org Contact: info@linkcut.org
This Privacy Policy explains what information the LSKit Android app ("the App", "we", "us") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By installing or using the App you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. No account, no sign-up
The App does not ask you to create an account and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number or any other personal details.
2. Information the App stores on your device only
The following information is saved only on your own phone and is never sent to us:
Your last URL checks (up to 10) shown under "Recent activity".
The QR codes you generate and their history.
Your app settings.
You can delete all of this at any time from the App (Clear buttons) or by uninstalling the App.
3. Information sent to our server
The App talks to our server (https://linkcut.org) in these cases:
Loading app settings and blog articles. A normal internet request is made; our server sees your IP address and basic device information (Android version, app version) like any website does.
Opening a short link from our website. When you open one of our short links inside the App, the App sends the link code and a random, app-generated device identifier to our server so the link can be verified and unlocked. Your IP address and approximate country (derived from the IP address) are used to prevent abuse and fraud. This identifier is created by the App, is not linked to your name, and is reset when you reinstall the App.
URL Checker. When you check a link, the App connects directly to that link's website to read its final address, status and page title. That request goes to the website you entered, not to us; we do not receive or store the links you check.
We keep server logs (IP address, time, requested page) for a limited period for security, fraud prevention and statistics.
4. Advertising
The App is free and supported by advertising. Ads are served by Google AdMob and, through AdMob mediation, may also be served by these partner networks:
Google AdMob / Google Ad Manager – https://policies.google.com/privacy
AppLovin – https://www.applovin.com/privacy/
Meta Audience Network – https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/
Unity Ads – https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
Liftoff Monetize (Vungle) – https://liftoff.io/privacy-policy/
These partners may collect and use your Advertising ID, IP address, approximate location (country/city level derived from IP), device type, operating system and information about how you interact with ads, in order to show ads and to measure them. Each partner processes this data under its own privacy policy linked above.
You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads at any time in your phone's settings: Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
Where required by law (for example in the EU/EEA and UK), the App shows a consent message before personalised ads are displayed and you can change your choice later from the App settings.
5. Permissions used by the App
Internet / network state – to load settings, articles, ads and to check links.
Advertising ID (AD_ID) – used only by the advertising partners listed above.
The App does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, location (GPS), photos, SMS or files.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the advertising partners listed above (for ads), with hosting providers that run our server, and when required by law.
7. Data retention
Information stored on your device stays there until you delete it or uninstall the App. Server logs are kept for a limited period (normally not more than 90 days) unless needed longer for security or legal reasons. Link-unlock records are kept as part of our website statistics.
8. Security
We use HTTPS encryption for all communication between the App and our server, and reasonable technical measures to protect our server. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability. Because the App does not store personal data on our server beyond short-term logs and an anonymous device identifier, most requests can be fulfilled simply by uninstalling the App. To make a request, email info@linkcut.org.
11. Third-party links and websites
Links you check or open through the App lead to third-party websites that have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version is always available inside the App (Settings → Privacy Policy) and on our website. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated policy.
