LSEMP-UFPR

Laboratory of Systematics and Molecular Ecology of Plants (LSEMP-UFPR) is equipped with gradient thermocyclers, gel photo-documentation system, electrophoresis vats and power supplies, centrifuges, water baths, chapels, freezers, refrigerators, computers, among other equipment, chemical reagents and all the necessary furniture for the full functioning of the activities in the molecular biology. Maintains a total DNA-samples from plants native to sites of interest to ongoing projects. The laboratory is maintained by two coordinators and many collaborators in topics such as systematic and molecular ecology, conservation genetics and molecular barcode techniques. These activities have been made feasible until now through projects funded by CNPq, Fundação Araucária and Petrobras.
