The Language, Society, and Culture Studies Lab (LSCS-Lab), in collaboration with the Applied Language and Culture Studies Lab (ALCS-Lab), is pleased to invite doctoral students from all over Morocco to participate in the 10th National Conference of Doctoral Students on Language, Communication, and Culture: Current Issues and Future Directions. The conference aims to provide a platform for doctoral students to present their work-in-progress papers, connect with other researchers, and, most important of all, receive feedback from peers and professors.
Participants should start by introducing their field of research and explaining its significance. They should outline their research questions and objectives, highlighting why they have chosen them. Next, they should present the problem domain, discuss existing alternative solutions, and emphasize the relevance of their research methodology. The presentation should include their proposed solution, achieved results, and a clear justification of its advantages over previous and current alternatives. Finally, participants should address any unresolved issues and outline their future research plans.
The conference will be in English, with each presentation limited to 15 minutes. Students wishing to participate must submit an abstract following the guidelines, before submitting the full paper.
