All Things Bright & Beautiful

All things bright and beautiful, ସବୁ ଜିନିଷ ଉଜ୍ଜ୍ୱଳ ଏବଂ ସୁନ୍ଦର

All creatures, great and small, ଛୋଟ ବଡ଼ ସମସ୍ତ ଜୀବ,

All things wise and wonderful, ସମସ୍ତ ଜିନିଷ ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ଏବଂ ଚମତ୍କାର,

The Lord God made them all. ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କଲେ।

Each little flower that opens, ଖୋଲିଥିବା ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଛୋଟ ଫୁଲ,

Each little bird that sings, ଗୀତ ଗାଉଥିବା ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଛୋଟ ପକ୍ଷୀ,

He made their glowing colours, ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଉଜ୍ଜ୍ୱଳ ରଙ୍ଗ ତିଆରି କଲେ,

He made their tiny wings. ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ର ଡେଣା ତିଆରି କଲେ। 

The purple-headed mountain, ବାଇଗଣୀ  ମୁଣ୍ଡ ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ପର୍ବତ,

The river running by, ନଦୀ ପ୍ରବାହିତ ହେଉଛି

The sunset and the morning, ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟାସ୍ତ ଓ ସକାଳ,

That brightens up the sky; ଯାହା ଆକାଶକୁ ଉଜ୍ଜ୍ୱଳ କରିଥାଏ

The cold wind in the winter, ଶୀତଦିନେ ଥଣ୍ଡା ପବନ,

The pleasant summer sun, ଖରାଦିନର ଆନନ୍ଦଦାୟକ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ,

The ripe fruits in the garden, ବଗିଚାରେ ଥିବା ପାଚିଲା ଫଳ,

He made them everyone. ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ତିଆରି କରିଥିଲେ।

The tall trees in the green wood, ସବୁଜ କାଠରେ ଥିବା ଲମ୍ବା ଗଛ,

The meadows where we play, ଆମେ ଯେଉଁ ଘାସ ଭୂମିରେ ଖେଳିଥାଉ,

The rushes by the water, ପାଣି ଦ୍ୱାରା ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଥିବା ନଡା

We gather every day. ଆମେ ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ଏକାଠି କରିଥାଉ।

He gave us eyes to see them, ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖିବା ପାଇଁ ଆମକୁ ଆଖି ଦେଲେ,

And lips that we might tell ଏବଂ ଓଠ ଯାହା ଆମେ କହିପାରିବା

How great is God Almighty, ପରମେଶ୍ୱର କେତେ ମହାନ,

who has made all things well. ଯିଏ ସବୁ ଜିନିଷକୁ ଭଲ କରିଛନ୍ତି ।

About the Poet:

Cecil Frances Alexander was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1818. She is a famous hymn (ଭଜନ) writer and poet. Her famous works are ‘Hymn for Children’, ‘Christmas Carol’, ‘Once in Royal David’s City’, ‘Verses for Holy Season’. This poem is included in ‘Hymn for Children’. Amongst other works, she wrote "All Things Bright and Beautiful", "There is a green hill far away" and the Christmas carol "Once in Royal David's City".

The hymn celebrates the beauty of the natural world and praises God as the creator of all things.
