About the LQBFI Committee

The Lunenburg and Queens Baby-Friendly Initiative Committee is a local group created to provide leadership for the protection, promotion, and support of breastfeeding/chestfeeding, and human milk feeding.
Support from all members of the community is a key factor influencing a parent’s decision of whether to breastfeed and how long to continue breastfeeding.
