Loyola & #Edumatch
A hybrid edcamp experience
Join us on September 21 from 8:45 - 3:00 (EDT) for a face-to-face and online experience! If you are in the DMV area, join us face-to-face at the Loyola University Maryland Columbia Graduate Center (8890 McGaw Rd, Columbia, MD 21045). If you are further away, join us online!
We are collaborating with Edcamp #Edumatch to offer a thrilling Hybrid Edcamp experience with face-to-face and online options for local and global educators. This edcamp is different than your typical Edcamp because the morning experience is face-to-face and the afternoon is online to give you the benefits of both environments. First, join us at Loyola’s Columbia Graduate campus for the face-to-face Edcamp sessions with local educators (8:45-3:00 EDT)! During lunch we will transition to a hybrid session by connecting with educators globally and then continue the afternoon with our online Edcamp sessions with educators from around the world (12:00-3:00 EDT).
What is an Edcamp?
We're back September 21st, bigger and better! We will be offering face-to-face and online options for local and global educators!
An Edcamp is a participant-driven professional learning opportunity, also known as an "unconference." The focus of our Edcamp will be on conversations and ideas you bring to the table. The topics will be determined by you the day of Edcamp. Participants will determine the session offerings based on their interests and needs and a session board will be developed on the morning of the event. It’s a great day to recharge skills and learn about new resources, strategies, and ed tech ideas in a collaborative way with educators both locally and globally.
