Self-Employment Worksheet (Required, if you have self-employment income, 1099 Misc,1099 NEC)
Free tax help is available through Tax-Aide for qualifying self-employed individuals, including those who work for Uber, Lyft, Doordash, etc. To be eligible for assistance, self-employed taxpayers may not have losses, employees, expenses over $50,000, depreciation, business use of home, 1099 filing requirement, or other complicating factors. Based on these limitations, if you qualify for tax assistance, we ask that you complete the self-employed worksheet before your scheduled tax appointment. We ask that self-employed taxpayers make an appointment after March 1 due to the more complex nature of their tax returns.
