Ph.D. Students

I am actively recruiting Ph.D. students to join the School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence (SCAI) at Arizona State University starting in Fall or Spring 2026/2027. 

• Applicants with backgrounds in statistics, computer science, mathematics, engineering, or related fields, and strong programming skills, are encouraged to apply. You can learn more about the graduate program here.

Current ASU Undergraduate & Master Students

I recruit undergraduate and graduate research assistants (RAs) who are interested in my research and want to gain hands-on experience in:

• Data analytics and applied data science; 

• Artificial intelligence methods; 

• Quality improvement applications in key industries.

🌟 Eligibility Requirements 

Before applying, please make sure you: 

• Are currently enrolled as an ASU undergraduate or master student.

• Can commit to at least one full semester.

• Being stable, self-motivated, and responsible in completing research tasks. 

• Are willing to actively learn and contribute to ongoing research projects.

• Complete the interest form approximately 3 weeks before the start of the semester.

• I strongly recommend students enroll in research credit with me.

• Students who continue for 2+ semesters may have the opportunity to:

  • Contribute to scientific publications;

  • Gain valuable experience for graduate school applications.

• Students preparing for graduate programs in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or related quantitative fields are especially encouraged to apply.
