### Third-Party Services:
Our application utilizes third-party services that may collect information used to identify you, serve advertisements, and analyze app stability:
- **Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads)**: Used to display banner, interstitial, and native advertisements. ## 3. Diagnostic & Error Reporting
When an error occurs (such as an FFmpeg processing failure or unexpected media container issue), the app allows users to voluntarily submit an error report or diagnostic log to assist with troubleshooting and bug fixing:
- **What is collected:** Non-identifiable technical diagnostics, including app version, Android/iOS OS version, device model, available memory/cache storage amounts, recent FFmpeg error codes, and anonymized command parameters.
- **Privacy & On-Device Redaction:** All user media file names, personal storage paths, and content URIs are automatically scrubbed and redacted directly on your device before any report is sent or shared. No video, audio, image content, or personal file names are ever included in error reports.
- **Transmission:** Error reports may be submitted directly to developer support channels (such as via an automated Discord webhook or by user-initiated email/share sheet). Discord acts strictly as a secure communication transport for receiving developer error logs.
## 4. Permissions Requested
- **Storage / Media Access**: Required to import videos selected by you via the system picker and save exported cut segments to your device storage.
- **Notifications (`POST_NOTIFICATIONS`)**: Used on Android 13+ to notify you when long-running background export operations complete.
- **Foreground Service**: Used during video processing to prevent the Android operating system from interrupting active export tasks.
- **App Tracking Transparency (iOS)**: On iOS 14.5 and later, we request permission via the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before delivering personalized advertisements. You may accept or decline tracking at any time in your iOS device settings.
