ABOUT THE SHOW:
ARTISTIC TENDENCIES, Anthony Scott’s two-act queer mystery, takes place in the studio of photographer Natalie Larson. Natalie meets with a new client - the mysterious local gay artist Julian Bonavard. When she tells her ex-girlfriend and studio assistant Tayla Masters about her photoshoot with Julian, they both discover something about Julian that no one could have expected, not even Julian himself. As the girls delve into what their unsettling discovery about Julian could mean, the audience discovers a major part of the mystery lies within the details of Julian's relationship with his boyfriend, Cameron. Julian and Cameron’s connection and love ends up forcing Tayla and Natalie, two ex-lovers, to reconsider their fractured relationship.
Calling out all the queer fans of the legendary RPG fantasy game, Dungeons and Dragons! Are you looking to complete some great campaigns with other queer players? Great! So are we. Head over to the Haus every other Tuesday from 7pm - whenever (campaigns can go for a while!) to play with some awesome queer people!
Email info@loringcollective.com to indicate interest in beginning a campaign in our space! (We already have two running!)
We play Dungeons and Dragons to further our charitable purpose of empowering queer creatives by providing a medium for local queer artists to develop and express their artistic abilities through creative writing, story arc, and character development. This group also provides an avenue for artists to practice their acting and drama skills in short skits and in collaborative group dynamics. This further creates an opportunity for participants and volunteers who dedicate their time to leading campaigns to develop their physical art skills by designing campaign maps and sketching characters.
WHEN: Tuesdays, 7 - 11 PM
