I am an assistant professor at the School of Government at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (UC). I obtained my Ph.D. in political science at MIT. Previously, I graduated as a commercial engineer majoring in economics and a sociologist at UC.

My main research interests focus on political behavior, with a special interest in public opinion and the functioning of Chilean political institutions. I am also interested in public policy, especially in higher education. My work uses various empirical methods, including surveys and experiments. Since 2020 I have been a columnist for El Mercurio.
