The charitable purposes of the Lopez PTA include purchasing equipment for the school, funding class field trips, providing additional grants and support when needed. We also encourage parent and public involvement in the public school, and work closely with educators and administrators to enhance each child’s educational experience.
Support Lopez Elementary without spending any additional money! You can link your King Soopers card to Lopez Elementary School PTA! You can also mention Lopez Elementary when shopping at American Furniture Warehouse (AFW) and they will donate a portion of your spending to the school.
The PTA is responsible for hosting events such as the Ice Cream Social, Boo Hoos/Woo Hoos, Breakfast with Buddies, Fall & Spring Book Fairs, Live@Lopez, and the Spring Carnival. We also organize fundraising events that include various restaurant fundraising nights, Rollerland nights, and others.
The PTA is a nonprofit organization. Most of the money that the PTA raises is through fundraisers such as restaurant nights, Rollerland, and RaiseCraze. We also generate funds through membership fees. 100% of the money we raise goes directly into the school in order to benefit our children.
