LongShot ("the app") is a scrolling-screenshot tool. Your privacy is central to its design: LongShot works entirely on your device and never sends your data anywhere.
WHAT THE APP DOES
LongShot captures your screen (with your per-session consent via Android's MediaProjection system dialog) while you scroll it yourself, and stitches the captured frames into one long screenshot. LongShot does not control or automate your device. It saves the resulting image (PNG) and optional PDF to your device gallery only.
DATA COLLECTION AND SHARING
No data is collected. LongShot has no internet permission and contains no networking code. Nothing is uploaded, shared, or sent to the developer or any third party. Captured screenshots are stored locally on your device (folder "LongShot") and can be deleted at any time from your gallery. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no accounts.
PERMISSIONS USED
Display over other apps (overlay): to show the floating Start/Stop capture control while you scroll the target screen.
Screen capture (MediaProjection): to record the screen frames being stitched, only after your explicit consent each session.
Notifications and foreground service: to keep the capture session running reliably and to notify you when a long screenshot is ready.
YOUR CONTROL
You can revoke any permission at any time in Android Settings, and delete saved images from your gallery. Uninstalling the app removes all app data.
