Long D. Nguyen was born in Dong Nai, Vietnam. He received his B.S. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and M.S. degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT), Vietnam, in 2013 and 2015, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from Queen's Univerisity Belfast (QUB), UK, in 2018. He was a Research Fellow at Queen's University Belfast, UK for a part of Newton project (2018-2019). From March 2019 to Feb 2020, he was with Duy Tan University as an Assistant Professor. He is currently with HCM University of Technology, HCM University of Technology&Education, Nong Lam university as a Lecturer, and Dong Nai University in Vietnam as an Assistant Professor, and Duy Tan University as an Adjunct Assistant Professor.

His research interests include Convex Optimization theory and applications, Resource Management in Wireless Communications and Internet of Things (IoT), Online (real-time) Optimization for Smart World, Cloud computing & platform, and Digital transformation.

He has a TPC member of several international conferences (INISCOM, SigTelCom, ATC, GLOBECOM Workshop, ICC). He is currently serving as a reviewer for IEEE Trans. Wireless Communications, IEEE Trans. Communications, IEEE Access, IEEE Communication Letter, IET Communications, and several international conferences.

He was awarded the Best Paper Award at

He was awarded the Exemplary Reviewer Award in IEEE Communications Letters, 2018.
