I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Systems Engineering at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS), Montréal, Canada.
My research focuses on the intersection of wireless connectivity and intelligent systems, with specific interests in the Internet of Things (IoT), LEO Satellite Communications, and Cognitive Radio Systems. I am dedicated to developing reliable, scalable, and energy-efficient solutions for next-generation networks, including green wireless sensor networks and UAV-assisted communications.
I co-authored more than 60 journal and conference papers (full list here).
Beyond academia, I have led multiple industrial collaborations across Canada, USA, Tunisia, and KSA. I have hands-on experience related to wireless sensor networks, simulations, and robotics.
I hold a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) and a Diplôme d'Ingénieur from Tunisia Polytechnic School.
I have served on the Editorial Board of IEEE Wireless Communications Letters since 2022. An IEEE member since 2011, I was elevated to IEEE Senior Member in 2024.
