Blog Update 9/22/21

Hello Readers! I apologize for the unexpected and extended hiatus from my website. I started a new job just over a month ago and it took me longer than I expected to get adjusted to my new schedule. I have finally started to get back into my writing, both for this blog and for my novel! I also started working on several different writing projects with some close friends of mine that have me really excited--I can't wait to share some more details about those projects when they become available!

In the time I have been away, there has been some exciting news about my writing as well! I don't like to brag or pat myself on the back but I am feeling proud of myself so I thought I would share the good news here.

Firstly, I was honored to receive Honorable Mention in the L. Ron Hubbard's Writers of the Future Contest for my short story "The Culling Chorus". I really love that story and I am so proud to see it recognized by such a prestigious organization, and I await the day the story will finally get published so I can share it with the world.

My short story "Tusk Hunter" was published this past Sunday by The Fantastic Other magazine. "Tusk Hunter" is one of the pieces that I am most proud of, and it is quite different than a lot of what I write. It would mean a lot to me if you checked out "Tusk Hunter" and all the other amazing work that was published alongside it here.

There will be more frequent updates to my blog going forward, and I am hoping I will be able to share some more exciting news about my other writing projects soon. Thank you for reading!
