I received my PhD student from Portland State University, where I was advised by J.J.P. Veerman. My primary research interests are in metric geometry, particularly spaces of global nonpositive curvature (e.g. CAT(0) spaces, Busemann spaces, and spaces which admit a convex bicombing).

In addition to my research and teaching, I also work for Mathematical Sciences Publishers as a production editor.
