The free version of Lockzen may display advertisements through Google AdMob.
Google AdMob may collect information such as:
Advertising ID
Device information (device model, operating system version)
Approximate location (country-level information derived from IP address)
This information is collected directly by Google and is governed by Google's own privacy practices.
Premium subscribers do not see advertisements.
Lockzen uses Google Play Billing for subscription purchases.
Payment processing and purchase information are handled by Google Play. Lockzen does not store credit card information, billing details, or payment credentials.
We implement industry-standard security practices to protect your data:
Vault files are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption.
Encryption keys are stored in Android Keystore and may be hardware-backed on supported devices.
PIN credentials are protected using PBKDF2 with 100,000 iterations and SHA-256 hashing.
Sensitive information is stored in app-private directories that are inaccessible to other applications without elevated system privileges.
Lockzen operates primarily offline. No personal or vault data is transmitted over the internet. Network communication is limited to services provided by Google, such as advertising delivery and billing verification.
Lockzen is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can address the concern appropriately.
All information managed by Lockzen remains stored locally on your device.
You may delete data at any time, including:
Intruder photos
Intrusion logs
Vault files
Application settings
Uninstalling Lockzen permanently removes all locally stored data associated with the App.
Because Lockzen does not maintain user accounts or store personal data on external servers, all information remains under your direct control.
You may:
Delete vault content at any time
Remove intruder photos and logs
Disable optional permissions
Remove Device Administrator privileges
Uninstall the App and permanently erase all associated data
Lockzen uses the QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES permission to display a complete list of installed applications so users can choose which apps to protect.
This information:
Is displayed only within the authenticated user interface
Is never transmitted to external servers
Is never shared with third parties
Is used solely for app-lock functionality
The permission is essential to the core purpose of the App.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
