LockNest ("the App") is developed by Expr Labs. Your privacy and the security of your personal data are our highest priorities. This Privacy Policy explains how the App collects, uses, and protects your information.
LockNest is designed with privacy in mind.
The App may access the following only with your permission:
Photos and videos you choose to import
Documents and files you choose to import
Camera (if features such as document scanning or intruder selfie are enabled)
Biometric authentication (Fingerprint or Face Unlock)
Device storage required for encrypted file storage
The App does not automatically access your personal files without your permission.
Your imported files are used solely to provide the secure vault functionality.
Files are used for:
Secure encrypted storage
Viewing inside the vault
Organizing into categories
Optional export back to your device
Your files are never used for advertising or marketing purposes.
LockNest uses strong encryption to protect your imported files.
Your encrypted vault is protected using:
AES-256 encryption
Android Keystore
PIN protection
Optional biometric authentication
Only you can unlock your vault.
By default, your vault is stored locally on your device.
Your encrypted files remain on your device unless you explicitly export them or enable future cloud backup features.
If cloud backup is introduced in future versions, it will be optional and clearly explained before use.
Any cloud backups will remain encrypted before leaving your device.
LockNest does not sell, rent, or share your personal files with third parties.
We do not upload your photos, videos, or documents to our servers.
The App may collect anonymous technical information such as:
Crash reports
Performance diagnostics
Basic app usage statistics
This information helps improve app stability and does not include the contents of your vault.
Depending on the features you use, LockNest may request access to:
Photos & Videos
Files & Documents
Camera
Notifications (if applicable)
Biometric authentication
Permissions are requested only when needed.
LockNest is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
You remain in full control of your data.
You may:
Delete imported files
Delete your vault
Uninstall the App
Revoke permissions at any time through Android Settings
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Any changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date above.
