LockIn is a Chrome extension designed to help students block distracting websites during exam preparation.
Data We Collect
LockIn stores the following data locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API:
- A hashed (encrypted) version of your password
- Your blocking preferences and settings
- A log of blocked site attempts (domain names and timestamps)
- Session timer data
All data is stored exclusively on your local device. Nothing is transmitted to any external server, database, or third party.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, share, or transfer any user data to third parties under any circumstances.
Data Removal
All data stored by LockIn can be removed by uninstalling the extension from Chrome.
