Our Commitment: We do not collect, store, sell, or share any of your personal or sensitive data. All processing occurs locally on your device.
Permissions Explained
To provide our core app-locking functionality, we require the following permissions:

QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES (Query All Apps)

Reason: This is a mandatory permission for the app's core functionality. We need it to list all applications installed on your device so you can select which ones to lock. This list is only shown to you and is never sent from your device.

PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS (Usage Data Access)

Reason: To know when to activate the lock screen, our app must identify which application is currently running in the foreground. This permission is used solely to detect the open app and trigger the lock.
3.
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW (Display Over Other Apps)

Reason: This permission allows us to display our lock screen interface (PIN, pattern, etc.) on top of the application that is being locked.
4.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE & FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE

Reason: To provide continuous protection, our service must run in the foreground. We declare the specialUse type because app locking is a critical security function that must remain active to be effective and cannot be classified under other standard types.
5.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED (Run at Startup)

Reason: This allows the protection service to restart automatically after you reboot your device, ensuring your apps remain protected without requiring you to open the app manually.
6.
REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS (Ignore Battery Optimizations)

Reason: This permission is requested to prevent the Android operating system from automatically stopping our lock service to save power, ensuring stable and uninterrupted protection.
7.
BIND_DEVICE_ADMIN (Device Administrator Permission)

Reason: This is an optional feature you can enable to prevent the app from being uninstalled accidentally or by an unauthorized user. This adds an important layer of security, and you have full control to enable or disable it.
8.
Other Permissions (VIBRATE, POST_NOTIFICATIONS, INTERNET)

VIBRATE: Provides haptic feedback (vibration) when you interact with the lock screen.

POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Displays a persistent notification to let you know the protection service is active. This is a requirement from Android for all foreground services.
◦
INTERNET: This permission is used only for displaying advertisements to support the app's development. It is not used to collect or transmit any personal data.
Data Storage
All your configurations—such as your list of locked apps and your password or pattern—are encrypted and stored securely only in the local storage of your device. We do not have access to this information, and it is never backed up or transmitted anywhere.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy within the app or on our store listing page.
