By downloading, accessing, or using LocFi, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least the age of majority in your country/region or have parental/guardian consent to use LocFi. If you enable a child account/device, you represent you have authority to do so.
LocFi provides location sharing, family/group coordination, and location-based alerts. Location data may be inaccurate or unavailable due to GPS, network conditions, device settings, or other factors.
Not an emergency service: LocFi is not a substitute for emergency services. Do not rely on LocFi for emergencies.
You agree to:
Provide accurate information and keep it updated
Keep your device and account credentials secure
Use LocFi only with people you have the right to invite/track
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
You agree that:
You will only track/share locations with informed consent and as allowed by law
You will not use LocFi to stalk, harass, monitor secretly, or violate anyone’s privacy
Group members you invite may be able to see your location depending on your settings
We may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse location tracking.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use LocFi for personal, non-commercial use.
You may not:
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code (except where legally permitted)
Circumvent security or access controls
Use LocFi for unlawful purposes or to violate others’ rights
Interfere with the service (e.g., bots, scraping, overload)
If LocFi allows messages, photos, or content in groups, you retain ownership of your content, but you grant us a license to host, store, and display it solely to operate the service.
You agree not to upload content that is illegal, abusive, hateful, or violates others’ rights.
If LocFi offers paid plans:
Pricing and billing terms will be shown at purchase
Subscriptions may auto-renew unless canceled through the app store settings
Refunds are handled by the app store provider (Apple/Google) unless required otherwise by law
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
You may stop using LocFi at any time and uninstall it.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or for legal/security reasons.
LocFi is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee:
Location accuracy
Continuous connectivity
That alerts will always be delivered
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocFi will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the minimum required by law, and if applicable, to the amount you paid to LocFi in the last 12 months.
You agree to indemnify and hold LocFi harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any law or third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Turkey will have jurisdiction unless local consumer law requires otherwise.
We may update these Terms. If changes are material, we will notify you in-app or by other reasonable means. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
