January 2026 / Watercolour on paper
It is a watercolour that speaks of true friendship. The kind that, even in silence, continues to be there. The blue is alive, deep, in motion. It comes and goes, sometimes intensifying, sometimes thinning out, yet it always remains recognisable. It is a presence that flows, carrying energy and direction. The grey is containment, structure, support; it is the space that helps the blue continue on its path. The grey holds the sheet together, gives continuity, receives. Without it, the blue would be too alone; without the blue, the grey would be incomplete. The grey does not imitate the blue, nor does it seek to become it. It stands beside it. In some places the blue seems almost to rest against the grey, as if it knows it can slow down there. And the grey does not restrain it — it accompanies it.

After spending a year in London, I came to realize that one's personal space is what matters the most in any person's life in the British capital.
Walking around the city, sitting at the parks, looking from one of London's bridges you feel as if you lived inside a bubble...
Unreachable from the outside. Untouchable from the others.
And this is what I tried to convey in this series of lino prints I worked on between 26-30 June, 2009.
