Buffalo, New York, shaped by its history as an Erie Canal terminus and Gilded Age industrial hub, is often considered one of the most haunted cities in the Northeast. Situated on the shores of Lake Erie and the Niagara River, Buffalo's paranormal reputation is rooted in War of 1812 battles, devastating fires, industrial accidents, immigration-era hardships, abandoned institutions, and grand historic architecture.

Learn more about this ghost tour:
I began No Illusions Tours in 2019 with the intention of telling Buffalo's story from the voices that we don't always hear from. To that end I start a series of tours on women's history, a series on strange and unusual stories (true crime, ghost stories, etc) and a tour on authors who lived and worked here. Over the years I have also collaborated with many local historic spaces and small businesses to create tours by bike, historic dinners, cemetery tours and more. I have also spoken at many community spots and historic spaces. Join me on a tour to learn about my hometown's past and how much it still has to offer!
