Their pattern of reviews on google indicate incentivization for good reviews, and a lot of employee, friends, and family reviews to inflate their score due to low actual customer reviews.

They do not appear to do background checks or drug tests on employees, and the primary manager/president of the company is not the  license holder, which is alarming.

Google review of Bay to Bay Roofing, Inc. by Slick Rickard★★★☆☆ "I really want to give these guys a better rating but my experience has not been overall great. Hired them for a room replacement and to fix an issue with the awning in the backyard where the roof transitions into it (it leaked between the two). We had bought our house and were dealing with the issues the pervious owners failed to mention. Oh well, what can you do but sort it out? They quoted us on the roof and the awning repair (turned out to need a flashing). We booked the job and everything went fairly smoothly. After the repair I noticed one of the workers had chopped off the gutter next to our screened porch. It looked bad and didn't have a cap so I let them know. They couldn't get someone out before the next rain and the gutter just dumped the water into our porch completely flooding it. Finally someone came out but they seemed to be out of the loop on what needed to be done. They did the repair but incorrectly and another worker had to come out and fix the fix. Additionally part of the transition that was recently flashed (the extra work we had done) was leaking again and we noticed through the soffit (where the leak was routing through) that a fair amount of water damaged wood was not replaced. They had to send 4 different workers out to address the problem over the next 6 months as well as replace wood they should have replaced in the initial job. Finally it had seemed like all was well and even though it took a while and felt tedious (I'm sure for the employees as well) it was done. A few rains came and went and our porch was finally dry. Well... here we are in June of 2022, rain season just starting to hit and low and behold the transition is leaking again. Not even a year since the last worker came by and it's leaking in multiple places. The leak isn't as bad as when we got the house but already water is beginning to damage our new roof. This company is very fair priced, professional and quick with regards to an actual roof installation / replacement but if you decide to have them address anything else or if the roof work you have done requires specifics make sure you are EXPLICIT in the estimate process have an inspection done after the job and maybe get a second opinion before engaging in service all together."
