This Privacy Policy describes how your information is handled when you use the Lobo application ("the Application"). This Application has been designed with a privacy-by-design approach, which means that the data you enter is stored exclusively on your device.
By using the Application, you agree to this policy.
1. Fundamental Principle: Local Storage The data you record in the Application, such as vehicle operating costs, fuel consumption, and trip information, is saved only locally on your device's storage. We, as developers, do not have access to this information, and it is not transmitted to any of our servers.
2. Information We Collect Since the application's data is local, we do not actively collect your personal data. However, for maintenance and improvement purposes, we use third-party services that collect certain diagnostic data:
Diagnostics and Performance Data: To detect errors and optimize performance, we use the Google Firebase service. This service may collect technical information such as the device model, operating system version, and crash reports (crashlytics). This information is anonymous and is not linked to your identity.
Screenshots (with your consent): If you enable this feature, the application will process screenshots from travel apps. This processing occurs entirely on your device to extract the relevant data. The images are discarded immediately, and neither the images nor the extracted data are sent off your device, except to be saved in the app's local storage.
3. Use of Information The information you enter is used exclusively for the Application's functions on your device, such as analyzing costs, calculating profits, and generating reports for your personal reference. The diagnostic data is used solely to improve the stability and functionality of the Application.
4. Data Sharing We do not sell, rent, or share the personal information you enter (trips, costs) with anyone, as we do not have access to it. The only information that is shared is anonymous diagnostic data, which is sent to Google (through its Firebase service) for the purposes described in section 2.
5. Google Play Subscriptions The Application uses the Google Play subscription system to manage payments. We do not collect or store your payment details (such as credit card numbers). All transactions are processed securely by Google. We recommend reviewing Google's Privacy Policy to understand how they manage your data.
6. Data Retention and Deletion Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it.
Retention: The data will remain on your device for as long as you choose to keep it.
Deletion: You can delete individual records (trips, costs) manually from within the application at any time. To permanently delete all of the application's information, simply uninstall the Application from your device. As no data exists on our servers, uninstallation constitutes a complete and final deletion.
7. Security The security of your data on the device depends on your own phone's security measures (e.g., lock code, device encryption). The Application stores data in its private directory, protecting it from access by other applications.
8. Minors The Application is intended for individuals over 18 years of age.
9. Changes to This Policy We may update this policy. Changes will be notified within the Application. Your continued use of the Application implies acceptance of the new policy.
