Loadcraft Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Loadcraft handles information when you install or use the Loadcraft mobile application.
Loadcraft is a strength- and hypertrophy-training application that provides structured workout programming, progressive-overload calculations, workout logging, one-repetition maximum tracking, optional bodyweight tracking, local backup and restore, and optional paid Pro features.
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, “Loadcraft,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the developer identified below.
1. Developer and contact information
Application: Loadcraft
Developer name: Timothy Isle
Contact email: timothy.isle.dev@gmail.com
Country: Switzerland
Questions about this Privacy Policy or Loadcraft’s handling of information may be sent to the contact email above.
2. Scope of this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the Loadcraft Android application and to any Loadcraft webpage that links directly to this policy.
It does not govern services operated independently by third parties, including Google Play. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
3. Information processed by Loadcraft
Loadcraft may process the following information locally on your device when you choose to enter or generate it:
workout plans and training-block information;
selected Strength or Hypertrophy mode;
exercise selections and substitutions;
prescribed and completed sets;
repetitions;
training weights;
one-repetition maximum values;
progression methods and progression settings;
workout completion status;
workout dates and durations;
exercise and workout notes;
optional bodyweight entries and bodyweight targets;
unit preferences, such as kilograms or pounds;
app settings and display preferences;
Free or Pro entitlement status;
unfinished workout-session information;
locally created backup and import information.
Some of this information, such as bodyweight, exercise performance and training history, may be considered health- or fitness-related information.
4. Local storage and collection by the developer
Loadcraft does not require you to create an account.
The current version of Loadcraft stores workout, bodyweight, settings and progression data locally within the application storage on your device. Loadcraft does not upload this information to a Loadcraft-operated account, cloud database or server.
Because this information remains on your device, the developer ordinarily cannot see, retrieve or recover it.
Under Google Play terminology, information that remains exclusively on the user’s device and is not transmitted to the developer may not count as developer-collected data. Nevertheless, this policy explains the local processing clearly because it concerns information entered into the app.
5. Purposes of processing
Loadcraft uses locally stored information to:
generate training prescriptions;
calculate working weights;
calculate progressive overload;
distinguish Strength and Hypertrophy programming;
track workout completion;
restore unfinished workouts;
display workout and exercise history;
calculate training trends and analytics;
maintain app settings;
generate future training-week previews;
support local backup, export and import;
determine whether Pro features should be available.
Loadcraft does not use workout or bodyweight information for advertising, profiling by advertisers, credit decisions, insurance decisions or sale to data brokers.
6. Google Play purchases
Loadcraft may offer a one-time purchase to unlock Loadcraft Pro.
Purchases are processed by Google Play. Google may process information such as:
your Google account;
payment information;
purchase history;
transaction identifiers;
country or billing region;
device and fraud-prevention information.
Loadcraft does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.
The app may receive limited purchase information from Google Play, such as:
product identifier;
purchase token;
purchase status;
acknowledgement status;
entitlement status.
This information is used only to:
complete the purchase;
unlock Pro features;
restore a previous purchase;
prevent duplicate or invalid entitlement states;
comply with Google Play Billing requirements.
Google’s processing is governed by Google’s own privacy policies and terms.
7. Backup, export and import
Loadcraft allows users to create a JSON backup containing app data and settings.
A backup may include:
workout history;
exercise records;
one-repetition maximums;
bodyweight records;
progression settings;
program configuration;
app preferences.
The backup is created only when the user requests it.
Loadcraft may allow you to save or share the backup using Android’s file or sharing interface. The destination you choose may be operated by another provider, such as a file manager, email service, cloud-storage service or messaging application.
Once a backup leaves Loadcraft, its handling is controlled by the service or location selected by the user. Users are responsible for protecting exported backup files.
Loadcraft validates imported backups before applying them, but users should import files only from trusted sources.
8. Data sharing
Loadcraft does not sell personal data.
Loadcraft does not share workout, bodyweight, exercise or training-history data with advertisers.
Loadcraft does not currently include advertising.
Loadcraft does not currently operate a cloud service that receives the user’s workout data.
Limited purchase-related information may be exchanged with Google Play solely to process, acknowledge, verify or restore Loadcraft Pro purchases.
Information may also leave the app when the user deliberately exports or shares a backup through a third-party service selected by the user.
9. Analytics, advertising and crash reporting
The current version of Loadcraft does not use third-party advertising SDKs.
The current version of Loadcraft does not use third-party behavioural analytics SDKs.
The current version of Loadcraft does not intentionally send workout or bodyweight data to a crash-reporting provider.
If analytics, advertising, cloud synchronisation or external crash reporting is added in a future version, this Privacy Policy and the Google Play Data Safety declaration will be updated before or when that processing begins.
10. Device permissions
Loadcraft requests only permissions or device capabilities required for its functions.
Depending on the Android version and features used, the app may interact with:
local application storage;
Android’s file picker for backup export or import;
network access for Google Play Billing, purchase restoration or store-related functions;
vibration or notification functions for workout timers, where enabled.
Loadcraft does not currently require access to:
precise or approximate location;
contacts;
call logs;
SMS messages;
microphone;
camera;
photos or videos, except files deliberately selected by the user;
Health Connect;
wearable health data.
This list must be updated if the app later adds any such capability.
11. Data retention
Workout data, bodyweight entries, settings and other locally stored information remain on the device until one of the following occurs:
the user deletes the relevant record;
the user uses an in-app data-deletion or reset function;
the user clears Loadcraft’s application storage through Android settings;
the user uninstalls Loadcraft;
application data is otherwise removed by the operating system or device owner.
Loadcraft does not retain a server copy of locally stored training information.
Google may retain purchase and payment records according to Google’s own legal, accounting, fraud-prevention and service requirements.
Exported backups remain wherever the user saved or shared them until the user deletes them from that location.
12. Deleting your information
Users may delete locally stored Loadcraft information by:
deleting individual entries where the app provides that option;
using the app’s data-management or reset controls;
clearing Loadcraft storage through Android settings;
uninstalling the app.
Deleting the app does not automatically delete copies of JSON backups previously exported elsewhere.
Because Loadcraft does not currently maintain user accounts or a cloud workout database, there is normally no Loadcraft server-held workout information for the developer to delete.
Purchase records maintained by Google Play are managed through Google’s systems and policies.
13. Data security
Loadcraft uses Android’s application storage environment to separate its locally stored data from ordinary access by other applications.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the current architecture, including:
application-specific local storage;
validation of imported backup files;
separation of application data from source-code repositories;
no intentional transmission of workout data to a Loadcraft server;
secure purchase processing through Google Play rather than direct card processing.
However, no device, software system or method of storage is guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users should:
protect their device with a PIN, password or biometric lock;
install operating-system security updates;
avoid installing software from untrusted sources;
protect exported backup files;
keep secure copies of important backups.
If a device is lost, compromised, reset or damaged, locally stored information may be exposed or lost.
14. International processing
Loadcraft itself does not currently transfer locally stored workout information internationally because that information is not uploaded to a Loadcraft server.
Google Play and any third-party service selected by the user for backup storage or sharing may process information in other countries under their own privacy policies and legal safeguards.
15. Legal basis and data-protection rights
Loadcraft is developed in Switzerland and may be subject to applicable Swiss data-protection law. Depending on the user’s location and the nature of processing, other privacy laws, including the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation, may also apply.
Where the developer processes personal data directly, the applicable legal basis may include:
performance of the service requested by the user;
the user’s consent, where required;
legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the app;
compliance with legal obligations.
Because the developer does not ordinarily receive locally stored workout information, requests for access, correction or deletion are generally completed directly by the user within the app or through Android device settings.
Where applicable, users may have rights relating to personal data processed by the developer, including rights to:
receive information about processing;
request access;
request correction;
request deletion;
restrict or object to processing;
receive portable data;
withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.
Swiss data-protection guidance recognises rights to obtain information including the controller’s identity, purposes, data categories, recipients and retention period.
Requests may be sent to the contact email listed above.
16. Children’s privacy
Loadcraft is intended for adults who already understand resistance-training technique.
Loadcraft is not directed to children and is not designed for use by children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a Loadcraft account or server because Loadcraft does not currently provide user accounts or cloud data collection.
If you believe a child has submitted personal information directly to the developer, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.
17. Health and fitness information
Loadcraft provides general fitness programming, workout logging and training calculations.
Loadcraft:
is not a medical device;
does not diagnose medical conditions;
does not provide medical treatment;
does not replace a physician, physiotherapist, qualified coach or other professional;
does not provide emergency services;
does not guarantee a particular training result.
Users should seek appropriate professional advice before beginning or changing a training program, especially if they:
have an injury;
have a medical condition;
are pregnant;
experience pain, dizziness, faintness or unusual symptoms;
are uncertain whether an exercise or load is appropriate.
Google requires health-related apps to complete the Health Apps declaration and maintain a privacy policy describing the handling of personal and sensitive information.
18. Third-party services
Loadcraft may rely on third-party services needed to distribute or monetise the application, including:
Google Play
Used for:
application distribution;
application updates;
purchase processing;
Pro purchase restoration;
licence and entitlement-related functions.
Google processes information under its own privacy policy and terms.
User-selected sharing or storage services
When a user exports or shares a backup, Android may present third-party applications or services chosen by the user. Loadcraft does not control how those services process the exported file.
19. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when:
Loadcraft features change;
data practices change;
third-party services are added or removed;
legal or Google Play requirements change.
The updated policy will be published at the same or another clearly communicated public URL, and the “Last updated” date will be revised.
Material changes may also be communicated inside the app or through the Google Play listing where appropriate.
