Laura Mecozzi is Assistant Professor at PRISMA Lab in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at University of Naples Federico II. She received the M.S. degree in Physics from the University of Bologna in 2010. She got her Ph.D. degree in Materials and Structural Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II in 2016 for the work entitled: “Multipurpose platform based on LiNbO3 crystals for novel scenarios in Soft Matter Manipulation". She was a Research Scientist with the Department of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Parma (2018-2020). She has participated to several research projects funded by the European Union and by the Italian Ministry of Research.She is co-author of about 30 papers published onto Peer Reviewed International Journals. Her main scientific interests include biomedical imaging, soft matter manipulation, cell/material interaction.
