Dr. Chueh is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Power Mechanical Engineering, National Tsing Hua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan. His research interests focus on advanced laser material processing (i.e., laser cutting and welding) and multiple-material additive manufacturing (3D printing, MMAM), including hybrid metal/metal, metal/ceramic, and metal/polymer components. He is one of the inventors of the world’s first multi-material laser-based powder bed fusion process (MMLPBF) and has successfully demonstrated the world’s first metal-polymer and metal-polymeric/ceramic multi-material 3D printed components. Dr. Chueh has been cited for more than 600 since 2019 on the novel MMAM research. He received best research dissertation award and Technical Studentship from the Department of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering, The University of Manchester in 2017. He was a recipient of the 2030 Cross-Generation Young Scholars Program-Emerging Young Scholars from the Ministry of Science and Technology, Taiwan, in 2022. 

我於2022年二月加入國立清華大學，目前任職於動力機械工程學系助理教授。主要研究領域為雷射加工處理以及多材料積層製造。於英國留學期間，我成功研發兩種雷射多材料積層製造系統，列印如金屬/合金、金屬/玻璃、金屬/陶瓷、金屬/高分子功能梯度複合材料，並成功列印史上第一個 3D 列印多金屬/塑膠多材料列印件。總計發表了 14篇關於多材料積層製造技術學術文章，皆於知名頂尖期刊(Additive Manufacturing)。自 2019開始，相關文章已被引用超過 700 次。此外，發表 1 篇邀稿文章於英國雷射商業雜誌(AILU)並擁有 1 項關鍵多國專利。同年(2022)八月榮獲 2030 跨世代年輕學者方案—新秀學者計畫補助，將用於開發次世代多材料積層製造前瞻性研究。
