MARI - Maternal Alcohol Resources & Information
MARI is a research project, where we work with women who are trying to conceive, are pregnant and/or mothers with children aged 5 or under.
The aims of the research are to coproduce resources which help women during these times to understand more about alcohol and, if wanted, reduce their drinking or follow recommended alcohol guidelines. These are not designed as treatments for women who need specialist alcohol services, rather they are public health resources there to help everyone – no matter how much or little you drink!
Collectively we are co-designing a digital app that will be freely available for every women in the UK, as well as producing non-digital resources such as booklets, leaflets and guidance cards.
If you are a woman who is trying to conceive, pregnant or a mother of young children and would like to know more or get involved, please sign up using this link.
If you are a professional who works with or supports women during these life stages and would like to get involved, please sign up using this link.
