Our group has several highly interdisciplinary research interests in bioorganic and environmental chemistry focused on pharmaceutical and personal care products (PPCPs) related water pollution, red tide and other environmental stimuli effects on coral reefs, and natural dye sensitized solar cells. One research project is using metabolomics tools in investigating water PPCPs treatment by natural dye sensitized TiO₂/ZnO photodegradation. The other project is using NMR-based metabolomics as a tool for the environmental toxicology assessment of the coral reefs using sea anemones. Besides these, natural dyes and modified natural dyes sensitized solar cells is another research interest.
